Background

Expo Forense emerged in 2014 in response to the challenge of meeting the constitutional deadline for completing the implementation of the New Criminal Justice System by June 18, 2016.

Its 1st edition appeared in February 2015, and the 2nd in March, 2016. Along with the trade show, the 1st International Forensics Sciences Congress, with presentations by national and international speakers.

Expo Forense 1st. Edition

The 1st edition was attended by government officials at the time, among them:  Magistrate José Carmen Castillo, General Director of Normative Studies and Projects in the Technical Secretaryship of the Coordination Council for the Implementation of the Penal Justice System (SETEC); Dr. Rafael Estrada Michel, General Director of the Penal Sciences  Institute; Hiram Almeida, Public Safety Secretary in Mexico City; Rodica Rodian, Israel’s Ambassador in Mexico; and Dr. Ciro Humberto Ortiz Estrada, Chief of the Federal Police Scientific Division.

Expo Forense 2nd. Edition

The 2nd edition was attended by other VIPs as: Professor Juan Carlos Contreras, Police Information and Intelligence Undersecretary of the SSP in Mexico City; Alejandro Magno González, Coordinator of Consultants at SETEC; Professor  Óscar Montes de Oca, Deputy Attorney General  for preliminary inquiries for the PGJ (General Attorney’s Office) in Mexico City; Dr. Zoraida Garcia Castillo, Coordinator for the Forensics Sciences  Degree at the UNAM (Mexico’s Autonomous State University); Dr. Rafael Estrada, General Director of the INACIPE (National Institute of Penal Sciences); Rommel Moreno, Head of the Unit in charge of the implementation of the Procedural Penal Accusatory System of the PGR; Dr. Rodolfo Rojo Urquieta, General Coordinator of experts services at the PGJ in Mexico City, and Dr. Felipe Takajashi,  Director of the Institute of Forensic Sciences

1ª edición 

En la 1ª edición contamos con la presencia de varias personalidades del gobierno en turno, entre las que se encuentran:

2ª  edición

En la 2ª edición se contó con diversas personalidades como el: Maestro Juan Carlos Contreras, Subsecretario de Información e Inteligencia Policial de la SSP de la CDMX; Alejandro Magno González, Coordinador de Asesores de la SETEC; Maestro  Óscar Montes de Oca, Subprocurador de Averiguaciones Previas de la PGJ de la CDMX; Dra. Zoraida García Castillo, Coordinadora de la Licenciatura en Ciencias Forenses de la UNAM; Dr. Rafael Estrada Michel, Director General del INACIPE; Lic.
